Jesus heals
Today I spent much time reading my prophetical dictionary. I think it is very interesting. I need a lot of concentration for it, but it is comfortable to read in the early morning sun on the veranda, after having finished washing clothes and mopping. I encourage one of the boys to write a sermon, as he tells me that his passion is to preach the gospel. He asks me how to write it, by means of a song or not? I say that I do not know and that it is between him and God. I ask him to pray for it so that the Holy Spirit can guide him and so that God can reveal Himself to him.
Sometimes I stop reading the book to rest and pray. I feel visiting . auntie Juliette, because she is ill. I urge her to go for a medical check-up. The fever has gone, but the stomach/belly-area still hurts a lot. I pray for her and she is going to visit a doctor this afternoon.
We go for lunch at auntie Esther's place. She is telling us that someone has stolen 50.000 UGX airtime from her. That is bad and it is the amount of airtime which the average person here uses normally in a month. I decide to give her 20.000 UGX so that she can preach again on the internet to the USA tonight.
I read bible with Meddy. We read about David who was obedient to God, when he became king of Juda after Saul. He wants peace, but the people fight him all the time. God makes him strong this way an God blesses him. Meddy is passionate and wants to share the word of James, that we need to be doers of the Word. We are going to give the bibles to the people, whom we promised to. I tell him that it is a good word, but that the man just has come to Christ, so that we have to take it easy. Once there the man tells us that he wants to take a shower and that he wills start to read the bible after. Tomorrow he will visit our church. His neighbour: the woman is also very happy with the bible and the magnificent glass. She allows me to pray for her and God heals her eyes instantly. She will come to our service also tomorrow at nine am. We invite both her and her children to come.
