Dear Friends and interested people,

I think it is time now to mention that I painted for 6 weeks (from 2 december 2010  till the 14th of Januari 2011) with orphean children from Bulamu Village in Uganda. The children were very motivated and creative and we had an inspiring time together. Now in all the houses the children have their own paintings and are very happy with that. During the last weeks I made 2 paintings with David who just started Art Academy and Henri Luja who finished Art Academy for the first 3 years and is going now for the next level, for the next 3 years. The project was very blessed. Regarding to my travelling experiences you can read my travel journal and see pictures on MarjongoesBulamuVillage.blogspot.com and on www.facebook.com (Marjon Mijnsbergen)

I had to recover at home, because I suffered on malaria tropica and was 3 weeks in 'het Havenziekenhuis', a hospital in Rotterdam, which is specialised in tropical illnesses. Never travel to malaria-indicated regions without a malaria profylaxe is a lesson I certainly have learnt. It was a tough lesson, but fortunately God is in control!  Last days I started painting again and I felt very happy to do so!
